OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION AT CHECKOUT

For a powerful AV receiver with matching speaker package, that's also compatible with your iPhone/iPod, the LG SR906 demands your attention.

Although significantly undercutting many rivals' prices, the LG SR906 certainly doesn't compromise on quality - sound or vision.

In terms of sound quality, the SR906 is definitely a class above its rivals. With 180 watts per channel and a mighty 200 watt subwoofer, the SR906 is around twice as powerful as many of its contemporaries and will fill a large room with ease. A wide range of sound enhancement systems such as Bass Blast, Clear Voice, Natural EQ and Game EQ allow you to tailor the sound to your exact requirements. Also helping the SR906 sound a cut above are the superior speakers. Whereas some use very basic satellite speakers, the SR906 uses two-way front speakers with separate tweeters and seamless woofers. Similarly, the centre speaker is proper, twin-woofer design that's more typical of a separates home cinema system. The result is that, although the speakers may be a little bigger than usual, the sound quality is in a different league. Treble is more detailed and crisply portrayed, vocals have real presence in the room and the bass is more solid and better integrated with the rest of the soundtrack.

Another area where the SR906 impresses is with its connectivity. No fewer than 3 HDMI inputs allow you to connect up your HD games console, set-top box and Blu-ray player and enjoy quality surround sound from them, too. Added to this is ARC (Audio Return Channel). This returns the sound from the TV, back into the receiver, via a single HDMI cable, saving you extra wiring. Coming complete with a USB socket, the SR906 easily hooks up to an iPod or iPhone and gives you a high quality, digital connection for the best sound quality possible.

If you've already got a Blu-ray player or PS3 but want a matched AV receiver and speakers, the LG SR906 is unrivalled at this price.
