An HDMI output with Audio Return Channel (ARC) lets you pull sound from the TV as well as push a video signal to it. A further two HDMI inputs allow you to plug in other sources such as a games console and HDTV box. Finally, a mini-jack input on the front is perfect for your portable device, such as MP3 player or phone.
