  Don't let the Essex accent fool you, this extremely gentle giant has a vast knowledge of all types of technology, and possesses a very welcoming manner at all times. His constant smiles and flowing golden hair will make your visit to Richer Sounds a very happy one (if you're lucky enough to get served by him).

  Russell, Deputy Manager

  Now in his 7th year of service, our Deputy Manager has developed dazzlingly high levels of customer service. This, paired with a life-long obsession for hi-fi and home cinema, gives him the skills to take you through an ultra smooth Richer Sounds experience. With one (robotic!) eye always on the future, Russell's latest passion is wiring your home for glorious multi-room audio.

  With extensive experience in hi-fi and home cinema and qualifications in music technology and multi-room systems, James has an ear for detail. Arranging a home consultation with James is very easy and can give you a dramatic and exciting improvement to a family home or business environment. James can also offer just about anything from the AV world, no matter how bizarre it may seem. Whether it's a motor to raise a TV out of the bottom of your bed or a flat panel screen in the shower, James is the man to talk to.

  When Tom's not busy giving exceptional customer service in our store, he's often out with his camera trying to be the next David Bailey. Luckily for you, this means he knows all there is about calibrating your TV to get the very best image.

  Alan loves to follow Girls Aloud the length of the country, he also adores Take That! He takes pride in knowing the ins and outs of new technology and is a walking one man jargon buster. So if you need something explaining Alan's your man!

  Phil is now in his 8th year of service, and the vast wealth of knowledge he's acquired makes him an invaluable member of the team. A keen DJ and music buff, Phil has a love for vinyl and all things funky! A true analogue purist, he very much believes in keeping it 'old school'!

  Don't be fooled by his school-boy looks, as this 6 year veteran has the experience (and grey hairs!) to guide you through the world of AV. When he's not going out of his way to give you the best possible deal, Ads releases music under a closely guarded alter ego.

  Mayuran has watched hi-fi and AV equipment evolve and has always been an ardent technologist. He knows all about our massive range of TVs and is always happy to help.

  One of our newer staff members, Ben's positive and polite nature will ensure that whatever you're looking for, this Bristol boy will give you service with a very big smile. Also, feel free to bring him in some chicken.

  Chris is our hi-fi expert. Ask him about the latest digital technology, DACs, amps and streamers and he'll have the answers. Keep him talking and you'll find a purist in many forms, whether it's the new camera techniques and filming or projectors and big screens. Come in for a demo with Chris and no genre is off limits.

  Our longest serving member with 11 years keeps the stockroom under control and can often be spotted doing deliveries about town. Hailing from East Anglia, he's a big fan of Everton and tractors, obviously.
